FLU The epidemic of highly pathogenic avian
influenza caused by H5N1, which began in December 2003 in
Korea, is being seen in many other countries. This infection
is of particular public health concern due to the ease of
worldwide travel, and the lethality of the disease. This
overview course presents information about pandemics, signs
and symptoms of avian influenza in humans, and mehtods of
