Approved Providers: Failure to meet requirements:

Complete at least one of the following for each renewal:
~ 400 hours work
~ 200 hours work plus 15 Contact Hours of continuing education
~ Continuing Education: 30 Contact Hours

Utah is a part of the Interstate Compact License group that recognizes and permits nurses to practice in group states under their home state license. License renewal must be obtained under the home state license requirements.

 

 

An APRN shall complete the following: be currently certified or recertified in their specialty area of practice; or if licensed prior to July 1, 1992, complete 30 hours of approved continuing education and 400 hours of practice.

CRNA shall be currently certified or recertified as a CRNA

The board of nursing authorizes continuing education that has been approved by a professional nationally recognized approver of health related continuing education NURSING EDUCATION OF AMERICA® is Accredited as a Provider of Continuing Education in Nursing by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).

Lapsed license. Could be found in violation of practicing without a license with citations imposed. The Board has the authority to revoke a license if the licensee obtains or attempts to obtain, by fraud or deceit, a license to practice nursing.
